Yoane Wissa Injury: Doesn't require surgery
Wissa (knee) doesn't require surgery and is currently receiving treatment with the aim to be back available for the game against Brighton after the international break, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "He's receiving treatment and no operation is needed. I think we're looking at the other side of the international break. We hope he can be fit and available for that first game."
Wissa won't need to undergo surgery for his knee injury as the forward is currently under treatment and aims to be fit to make his debut with the Magpies against Brighton on Oct. 18 after the international break. This is positive news for Newcastle since his absence is not expected to extend beyond this timeframe if he avoids setbacks. That said, newcomer Nick Woltemade and Anthony Gordon will continue seeing decent playing time until Wissa returns.
