Youri Tielemans News: In contention to start

Tielemans could be in the starting XI against Bournemouth on Sunday, manager Unai Emery told media during Friday's pre-match press conference. "Tomorrow we will train. Today morning we trained, tomorrow we will train, and on Sunday, if everything is going well, he will be available to be with the team and maybe he can start in the starting 11. It depends."

Tielemans delivered 15 quality minutes off the bench against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, and the midfielder is progressing well after missing nine games due to a calf problem. Tielemans has started in every match he's been fit this season except for the win over Maccabi, so it seems it'll be a matter of time before he returns to the XI.
