Zian Flemming Injury: Ready for opener

Flemming (strain) appears to be an option for Saturday's match against Tottenham, according to manager Scott Parker. "No injury concerns, we have had a good pre-season. Picked up a couple of little niggles along the way, but we are in a good place."

Flemming had been dealing with some muscular issues this offseason, but appears to have recovered for their season opener, as he was back in training a week ago, while his manager confirmed the club doesn't have any injuries. This does give the club some more options in the attack, as the forward did see 16 goal contributions in 35 appearances (28 starts) last campaign. However, he will probably serve in a rotational role and be a bench option to start Premier League life.
