Innocent will miss 4-to-6 months after undergoing left knee surgery Wednesday to repair a torn meniscus, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Innocent had been sidelined with what was believed to be a shoulder injury, but the knee issue is clearly much more serious. His absence comes at a tough time for San Jose, who will also be without midfielder Tommy Thompson, who is gone for the U-20 World Cup.
