Ishizaki played his final game for the Galaxy on Saturday after making the decision to return home to Sweden for personal reasons, Scott French of MLSsoccer.com reports.

ANALYSIS
Ishizaki's departure from Los Angeles was a total surprise to the public as he'll leave a successful Galaxy squad to prepare for the birth of his twins later in the year. His departure comes a week before Steven Gerrard's expected debut, and Gerrard will likely take over Ishizaki's cemented spot in the starting XI moving forward. There's no immediate plans for Ishizaki to sign with another team but the early favorite to make an offer is AIK of Sweden.
