Ali Krieger

Krieger has played in her final professional match, ending with her first NWSL title. She began her professional career playing for the Washington Freedom, later making the move to FFC Frankfurt from 2007-2012. Her only other time playing outside the United States was in 2013 in Sweden with Tyreso FF. Krieger has been part of the NWSL since when it was founded in 2013, spending three years with the Washington Spirit, then four years in Orlando before ending her career with NJ/NY Gotham FC. With the national team, she made 108 caps while winning two World Cups, one CONCACAF Women's Championship and two SheBelieves Cups. Krieger will go down as one of the best defender in USWNT history, ending her 16 year professional soccer career last Saturday.
