Lyon signed with the Philadelphia Union on loan as an emergency replacement for Saturday's match against New England, Jonathan Tannenwald of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

ANALYSIS
The Union were in need of another keeper after Matt Freese was ruled out for four-to-six weeks with an oblique injury, which came after Andre Blake was already sidelined with a thigh issue. Carlos Coronel is expected to start this weekend, so Lyon's fantasy value remains very low.
