Mendy (knee) won't play Wednesday versus Belgium in the World Cup round of 32 as he's not completely recovered from his injury, about which Senegal coach Pape Thiaw commented "Mendy went back to see the doctors of his club for additional tests. He came back with the group. Even if he won't be fit to play tomorrow, he will be by our side.
