Est. Return 10/18/2026
Still unavailable for selection
Azeez (undisclosed) remains sidelined and will not be available for Saturday's Premier League clash against Sunderland as he continues working toward full fitness, according to coach Fabian Hurzeler, per Andy Naylor of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Azeez has yet to make his Brighton debut after arriving at the club short of full fitness, though he recently made progress by returning to training on the grass Tuesday. Despite this encouraging development, the midfielder is still working through his recovery program and has not been cleared for competitive action. His next step will be to increase his training workload before becoming an option for Hurzeler, with no firm timetable established for his debut.
