Loaned to Lincoln City
Gauci has joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan from Aston Villa, the club announced.
ANALYSIS
Gauci has joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan, his third loan spell away from Aston Villa since arriving at the club. The Australian international made 41 appearances for Port Vale last season while on loan in League One and has previously spent time out on loan at Barnsley. Since signing for Villa in February 2024, Gauci has made just two appearances for the first team, both in the Carabao Cup. With Emiliano Martinez firmly established as Villa's number one and Marco Bizot as the back-up, another season in the Football League will give Gauci the regular minutes he cannot get at Villa Park.
