John Goossens

Goossens will undergo surgery on his injured ankle Friday, and he is expected to be out five-to-six months.

Goossens came on in the 38th minute and scored late in the second half of Sunday's 3-2 loss at Toronto.

Goossens had an assist in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Toronto FC. He took two shots and swung in three crosses.

Goossens opened scoring and tallied a team-high tying four shots (two on goal) Sunday as Chicago played Orlando City to a 2-2 draw at home.

Goossens put a strong 82-minute shift during a 2-2 against the Red Bulls on Sunday. He finished with an assist, two shots (one on target), was caught offside three times and committed three fouls while suffering one.
