Jones has been loaned to Las Vegas Lights FC in the USL Championship from Colorado Rapids for the 2025 season, the club announced. "Nate has shown great potential, and we believe this loan will provide him with valuable minutes in a competitive environment," said Rapids Sporting Director Fran Taylor.

Jones enters his second season with the Rapids after being drafted fifth overall by Austin FC in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft and subsequently traded to Colorado. He made 25 appearances for Rapids 2 in MLS NEXT Pro and featured in one U.S. Open Cup match in 2024. The 23-year-old now joins Las Vegas to gain more playing time and experience in a competitive environment.
