Lombaerts has been ruled out for this summer's European Championships because of a hamstring injury, Belgium manager Marc Wilmots announced Monday. Christian Kabasele will replace Lombaerts on the squad list.

ANALYSIS
With Vincent Kompany also dealing with an injury, Belgium suddenly look a bit weaker in defense, though they still have plenty of talent with Toby Alderweireld and possibly Jan Vertonghen moving back into a central role, as he usually plays leftback internationally.
