Paulo Wanchope

The Costa Rican striker will be out for another eight to ten weeks as he is set to have an operation on damaged cartilage in his right knee.

Wanchope, having been sidelined for over a year, has promised to give it his all to make a full recovery in time for the start of next season.

A freak training accident has put the Costa Rican international out for the rest of the season. He fell awkwardly and dislocated his shoulder and it was determined after a run of tests that he will require reconstructive surgery.
