Samuel Adeniran
28-Year-Old
LASK
Plays 22 minutes in return
Adeniran made his first appearance since undergoing surgery on a cheekbone fracture when he replaced Sascha Horvath in the 68th minute of Sunday's 3-3 draw at Hartberg, according to ORF.
ANALYSIS
Adeniran is back available after missing the Champions League opener at AEK Athens with a cheekbone fracture that required surgery. The forward scored twice in the qualifying win over Celtic and one of those was the extra-time winner, so his return restores a proven option in attack. He played the final 22 minutes at Hartberg on Sunday, and with the international break to come he should be in contention for Liverpool's visit on Oct. 14.
