Loaned to Lausanne-Sport
Kone joined Lausanne-Sport on loan for the 2026-27 season, the club announced.
ANALYSIS
Kone spent the second half of last season with Lausanne, gaining valuable senior experience and making a positive enough impression to earn a return to the club. The midfielder joined Manchester United in August 2024 from Guidars FC in his native Mali. Lausanne finished ninth in the Swiss Super League last season and appointed new coach Luka Elsner in July as they look to progress this term. Kone is expected to continue his development in Switzerland during the loan spell.
