The Norwegian striker has flown home to get medical treatment on his lingering ankle problem. He missed the midweek FA Cup victory over Blackburn and left soon after.

ANALYSIS
Flo was, at best, erratic in his offensive output for the Black Cats. The bottom dwellers in the Premiership probably didn't need this latest setback. Although they should have seen it coming, seeing that Flo had surgery on the same ankle back in 1999 when he was with Chelsea and has sat out several games since.
