Pasalidis bit the bullet as the coach opted for a three-man defense and didn't seem affected by his recent injury, although he was overwhelmed by the mighty opponents like the rest of the rearguard. He should have a decent role in the short term until Jerome Boateng (thigh) and Konstantinos Manolas are healthy and ready for full minutes.
