ANALYSIS
The center half is nearly allergic to scoring, with just five goals in 268 domestic league caps for CSKA Moscow and 10 goals overall in 373 matches; however, in his 95th cap for Russia, the 33-year-old made sure Georgy Schennikov's ball found the back of the net to secure a point for Russia after things were looking quite dire for the final 20 minutes. Despite a season plagued by injury, the talented center back looked more than up to the challenge against England's talented front-line and looks ready for the challenge of matches against the similarly attack-minded Welsh as well as the Slovaks.
