Finger
February 7, 2019
Sock will be out two months after tearing ligaments in his finger off the court, freelance tennis writer Parsa Nemati reports.
ANALYSIS
Not much is currently known as to the exact happenings of how Sock injured his finger, but he'll be sidelined nonetheless after undergoing surgery Monday to repair the issue. The 26-year-old's ranking has been in a free fall over the past 12 months and this time away from the court should only make matters worse, to the point where he'll likely have to play numerous events on the Challenger Tour to work his way back up to playing the ATP Tour on a regular basis.
