Injures groin before retiring

Pellegrino retired with a groin injury while down 5-1 to Lorenzo Giustino in Round 2 of the Barletta Challenger on Wednesday.
Pellegrino was off from the start and wisely made the decision to call it quits in order to prevent further injury. The 22-year-old is now 13-6 in main-draw matches this season, although he's still ranked just No. 363.
