Eases to Wimbledon Qualifying R2

Gomez defeated Riccardo Bonadio in the first round of the Wimbledon Qualifiers with a score of 6-4, 6-2 on Monday.

ANALYSIS
Gomez proved too hot to handle and secured his place in the next round with a comfortable win. The 31-year-old won 68 percent service points, considerably higher than his opponent who only managed to win 55 percent points while serving. Next up for Gomez will be Portugal's Frederico Ferreira Silva.
