Koehler decided to retire Tuesday, Jose Morgado of the Lisbon Diario Record reports.

No reason has been stated as to why the 26-year-old will step away from her professional playing career. Koehler went 192-168 in her singles career, helping her rank as high as 102nd in the world back in 2013. She now plans to move into a coaching role at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
