Stephens defeated Nadia Podoroska in the round of 128 of the Italian Open with a score of 6-4, 6-1 on Wednesday.

ANALYSIS
Stephens produced a dominant display as she booked her place in the next round with a win in straight sets. The 30-year-old registered an incredible 96.2 percent points on the first serve. In comparison, her rival Podoroska only managed to win 60.5 percent points on her first serve. Next up for Stephens will be Belarus' Victoria Azarenka.
