Although Xazavian Valladay was the clear leader of the backfield with a season-best 13-107-1 line, Smith put together an excellent complementary performance that included his second rushing touchdown of the season. The spring league vet also recorded a new season-high rushing yardage tally and did it at a season-best clip of 7.0 yards per carry. Smith should retain a relatively solid role over the final two games of the regular season as part of DC's three-headed backfield that also includes Deon Jackson.
