McClendon earned the Week 6 start after looking very impressive in relief duty in Week 5 following Nolan Henderson's shoulder injury. The mobile signal-caller carried the momentum over into Sunday's comfortable win, putting together an efficient performance while also taking matters into his own hands as a rusher when necessary. McClendon connected with 10 different targets overall while displaying a strong command of the offense, and given the right direction he clearly has the Houston offense going in, he'll continue to man the controls in a Week 6 home matchup versus the Showboats on Saturday.
