Love completed 20 of 29 passes for 152 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed four times for four yards in the Showboats' 19-12 win over the Roughnecks on Sunday. He also threw a one-point conversion pass.
ANALYSIS
Love was efficient enough and connected with eight different targets overall, but he also averaged just 5.2 yards per attempt. However, the San Jose State product was able to help the Showboats squeeze out the win with plenty of help from Darius Victor, who notched a pair of rushing touchdowns. Love put up only 55 pass attempts all season after seeing more work with the USFL's Pittsburgh Maulers and Michigan Panthers in the previous two springs, but perhaps he'll get a shot at securing the starting job from the onset in Memphis next UFL season.
