RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince is averaging 6.6 points per game through seven appearances with Dynamo Kursk this season in Europe.

Prince is also averaging 2.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds across 19.2 minutes through those seven games. Prince seems to be struggling in Europe considering she averaged 12.0 points and a career-high 3.6 rebounds with the Liberty last season. She'll be ready to return to the Liberty and build off a solid 2017 season.

Epiphanny Prince: Past News Updates   ( ▲ View most recent update )

September 4, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince provided 20 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Sunday's 82-81 win over the Wings.

Prince's inconsistent workload since mid-July has likely frustrated fantasy players, though she's seen 31 minutes in each of the Liberty's past two games, totaling 36 points, nine rebounds, five assists and one block. That said, prior to those two games, she saw just an 18-minute workload, which followed up a 34-minute and 20-minute workload. Unless the coaching staff essentially guarantees her a 30-minute workload prior to tipoff, deploying Prince in DFS is a huge low-floor/high-ceiling move.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince finished with seven points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 20 minutes during Friday's 82-70 victory over the Sun.

Just one game after breaking her slump by dropping 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block across 30 minutes, Prince saw her workload drop dramatically and her production followed suit. She's seen at least 24 minutes in only two of the past seven games. Unless she's a lock to see that kind of workload, Prince can likely be avoided in DFS on most nights at this point, as she's averaging just 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal across 20.6 minutes per game over her past five appearances.

August 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince posted 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and block across 30 minutes in Sunday's win over the Sparks.

Just when it looked as if Prince was going to have a limited role in New York's game plans through the end of the season, she puts together one of her best all-around performances against one of the WNBA's best teams. Her 18 points ends a streak of four straight games with seven or less and she also posted her highest rebounding total since the end of June. However, Prince should still be seen as a risky DFS play given her limited minutes and production as of late.

August 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince finished with four points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three assists across 15 minutes during Friday's 83-77 win over the Dream.

Prince's role has taken a significant hit as of late. During May, June and July, she averaged 31.0, 26.5 and 28.0 minutes per game respectively. Now, during the first four games of August, she's seeing just 19.0 minutes per contest. Many of those minutes of have gone to Bria Hartley, who's emerged as a solid option at guard for the Liberty this season. Overall, it's probably best to proceed with caution when considering Prince in DFS due to this severe workload change.

August 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince provided six points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 81-76 win over the Fever.

Prince has been ice cold from the field over the past three contests, shooting a combined 7-for-23 (30.4 percent) en route to 18 points. While not normally a beacon of offensive production, averaging 11.3 points per game on 37.3 percent shooting, this stretch has been particularly frustrating for those who have deployed her in DFS. She's' gone through rough scoring patches in the past, however, so this development ultimately isn't a shock. Inserting her into a lineup undoubtedly comes with risk, but her big-game potential combined with her defensive proficiency can lead to big payoff on occasion.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince provided 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four steals and two assists across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 76-75 loss to the Lynx.

Prince played a jam-packed 27 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Lynx, providing a punch on both sides of the rock. Though Prince doesn't often provide eye-popping numbers, she has solid averages across the board, posting 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals across 29.5 minutes per game. While she isn't an elite fantasy option, Prince is definitely someone to consider when the Liberty take the floor. Even if she flounders in one category, she has the potential to make up for it by excelling in another.

July 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince, at the All-Star break, is posting 12.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals across 29.6 minutes per game.

While Prince's numbers aren't eye-popping, she provides a balanced statline in the backcourt -- something that can be hard to find. So, she probably won't dominate any one category, but can often make up for her lack of production in one area of her game by excelling in another. For the same reason, Prince has big-game potential. As an example, she provided 21 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals across 34 minutes during a May 30 loss to the Sparks -- arguably her best performance of the season. All things considered, Prince isn't an elite option at guard for DFS, but is someone who should probably be considered every day the Liberty take the floor, as she's a nice mid-level option as far as price and value are concerned.

July 7, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince contributed 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Thursday's 79-70 victory over the Storm.

On Thursday, Prince racked up her best scoring performance since she returned from overseas, where she was participating in EuroBasket. Other than that, her performance against the Storm wasn't anything out of the ordinary, as she averages 14.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 boards and 1.5 steals across 30.5 minutes per game. Overall, she's a quality option to deploy in DFS, though has shown some consistency issues this season.

July 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince had eight points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one turnover across 33 minutes during Sunday's 72-81 loss to the Dream.

Prince really struggled with her shot Sunday, shooting just 30 percent from the field and 17 percent from the three-point line, which resulted in her first single-digit scoring total over the last six games. She saved her overall stat line with a season-high nine assists, but she's normally going to rely on points to fuel her fantasy value, so she'll need to lock back in prior to Thursday's tilt with the Storm. Prince is averaging 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals across 30.1 minutes per contest.

June 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince supplied 12 points (5-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Thursday's 67-54 loss to the Mystics.

There were plenty of misses to go around with the Mystics hitting just 30.9 percent of their attempts from the field, allowing Prince to snag a season-high seven rebounds. In her two games since returning from EuroBasket, Prince has totaled 26 points (9-24 FG), 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals across 54 minutes. While those aren't particularly eye-popping stats, Prince may still be getting into the swing of things since coming back to America.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince has returned from her recent EuroBasket tournament and will suit up for Friday's game against the Sun, Doug Feinberg of the Associated Press reports.

Prince has been away from the team over their last six contests while playing for Russia during the recent EuroBasket Tournament, but is finally on her way back to New York and should be good to go moving forward. It's still worth it to check on her status just prior to tipoff Friday to make sure there weren't any sort of travel delays, but as it currently stands, Prince should be on the court. Look for Prince to jump right back into the starting lineup and she already owns season averages of 15.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.2 steals across 30.9 minutes, so she'll instantly become an intriguing fantasy option.

May 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince has temporarily left the Liberty to play for Russia in the upcoming EuroBasket tournament, the New York Daily News reports.

The Liberty will lose both Prince and Kia Vaughn for the better part of the next month, as both players head to Europe to begin preparing for EuroBasket. When, exactly, they return to the WNBA will depend upon their teams' performance in the tournament, but it's likely that Prince and Vaughn will miss at least three weeks of action. "People will have to step up," New York coach Bill Laimbeer said after practice Monday. "We'll have to look at (Shavonte) Zellous playing some (guard). It will be a mix and match every night depending on who we're playing." On Wednesday, the Liberty also brought in Lindsay Allen, who was cut in training camp, to help fill the void.

May 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince provided 19 points (6-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 87-81 loss to the Storm.

Prince has picked up the slack with Brittany Boyd (Achilles) going down for the remainder of the season, totaling 43 points and nine rebounds over the past two contests. It seems safe to say at this point that she'll continue to be one of the go-to guards for the remainder of the season, as she's also averaged 34.5 minutes per game over the past two matchups. The last time she saw at least 30 minutes per game over the course of a season was in 2014 when she averaged 15.0 points, 3.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest.

May 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince tallied 24 points (10-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 69-67 victory over the Mercury.

Prince, after scoring 15 total points on 3-of-18 shooting through the first two games of the season, poured in an efficient 24 points during Tuesday's victory. While she likely won't go for 24 on most nights, she's certainly capable of the occasional outburst, considering she's a 37.4 percent career three-point shooter.

May 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince recorded four points (1-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and three steals across 28 minutes in Thursday's loss to the Lynx.

Despite playing extended minutes off the bench, Prince still struggled mightily from the field in the team's loss and has now shot just 3-of-18 from the field in her first two outings. However, with Brittany Boyd likely out for the season after injuring her Achilles on Thursday, Prince is in line to take on heavy backcourt minutes from here on out. But, while the opportunity will certainly be there, Prince should be considered a high-risk. high-reward option until she can consistently return to form this season.

May 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Prince gathered up 11 points (2-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 22 minutes off the bench during Saturday's win over the Stars on Saturday.

Prince is entering her eighth WNBA season after missing most of last season due to recovering from an ACL surgery. The veteran guard is currently slated as a solid bench contributor, but could push her way up the depth chart, as she played more minutes in her first appearance than starting guard Brittany Boyd.
