After being selected by the Sky with the No. 10 pick in this year's draft, Sivka joins a Sky frontcourt that includes Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. Sivka is a 6-foot-4 forward but is a capable perimeter shooter who should be able to provide a spark off the bench once she plays in the WNBA. The Sky conversed with the Slovenian during the draft process, but she plans to remain overseas in 2025 before joining the Sky in 2026. Sivka will not be joining the Sky until the 2026 WNBA season, Karli Bell of Marquee Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Selected with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Sivka will remain overseas for the time being. Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca confirmed that the team will retain her rights, however, and that he expects her to play with the Sky in 2026.
