                2025 Fantasy Outlook

Smith had a breakout campaign with the Sky in 2023, and she maintained her momentum in 2024 after joining the Lynx, posting career-high averages in points (10.2) and assists (3.2) to go with 5.6 rebounds per game. The 28-year-old shot 39.8 percent from beyond the arc, which is more than 10 percent higher than any of her averages earlier in her career, but even if her long-range efficiency regresses in 2025, she contributes enough in other areas to give her a solid floor. The Lynx didn't make significant changes to their roster during the offseason, so Smith should have a chance to maintain her reliable fantasy production this year. Muted performance in loss
Smith logged eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 27 minutes during Sunday's 86-81 loss to the Mercury.
				  ANALYSIS
Despite coming two points and two rebounds shy of a double-double in Game 4, Smith didn't make enough of an impact to help Minnesota avoid elimination. Her season comes to an end, sharing the co-Defensive Player of the Year award with Aces superstar A'ja Wilson and putting up strong numbers across the board once again. Smith played in a career-high 42 regular-season games while also averaging a career-high 1.9 blocks per game. As an unrestricted free agent, Smith is a player Minnesota will prioritize in bringing back in 2026 and it is likely we see her back in a Lynx uniform next year.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

    2024
				2022
Smith had relatively limited production over her first four seasons in the league but stepped into a prominent role during her first season with the Sky in 2023. The 27-year-old came off the bench in her first three appearances of the year but claimed a starting job when Morgan Bertsch sustained an injury and didn't relinquish that job down the stretch, even when Bertsch was cleared to return. Smith wasn't particularly dominant in any particular area but generally had enough production in the scoring and rebounding columns to generate solid fantasy lines. The 27-year-old averaged 9.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in 26.5 minutes per game, all the best marks of her career by a considerable margin. In 2024, she may have to settle for a reserve role in Minnesota since the team has Napheesa Collier, Diamond Miller (knee), Jessica Shepard (ankle) and Dorka Juhasz in the frontcourt, but it's also possible Tiffany Mitchell shifts to the bench. Regardless of her starting status, Smith should still be able to carve out her fair share of playing time with her new team.
