2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sykes had a career-best season while debuting with the Mystics in 2023, but she struggled with injuries in 2024 and couldn't develop a rhythm on the stat sheet. She averaged just 23.4 minutes per game -- her lowest mark since 2018 -- and racked up 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game over 18 regular-season appearances. The 31-year-old still showcased some fantasy upside when healthy, so it wouldn't be surprising to see her bounce back in 2025, especially if Elena Delle Donne isn't back with the team. Sykes is capable of contributing on both sides of the ball, and she should have ample opportunities to make an impact if she can stay healthy this year. Read Past Outlooks

Dishes out five assists in win
Sykes supplied 12 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal across 30 minutes in Tuesday's 94-88 win over Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Sykes scored double-digit points for the third consecutive game and was one of five Storm players to reach double figures. The All-Star has scored at least 11 points in five of her six appearances since being traded to Seattle. The veteran guard was also one of four Storm players to dish out at least five assists, which she has now accomplished in two of those six games.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2022
Sykes served mainly as a starter during her time in Atlanta and Los Angeles but served exclusively as a starter during her first season with the Mystics last year and took a significant step forward. She averaged 15.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.1 steals in 31.3 minutes per game, all career-best marks. While the 30-year-old attempts fewer three-pointers than some other guards in the league, she bolsters her fantasy value through her consistent defensive production. Sykes has stayed on the court consistently for most of her career, as she's missed just five games over the past five seasons. This was always an appealing point for fantasy managers, and it was encouraging to see her appear in every game last year amid her increased role in Washington. Sykes was a reliable fantasy contributor with the Mystics last year and could take another step in 2024 since Natasha Cloud is now in Phoenix and Elena Delle Donne has decided to step away from basketball.
