Chennedy Carter

Carter spent the first two years of her career in Atlanta and averaged 15.8 points and 3.3 assists in 25.4 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter over 27 appearances with the Dream. However, she was traded to the Sparks ahead of the 2022 campaign and saw her role decline with her new team, averaging 8.9 points in 16.4 minutes per game. She started in just two of her 24 appearances in 2022 and was let go ahead of the 2023 season. The 27-year-old didn't sign with another team last year but joined the Sky on a training camp contract this spring. Chicago lost several key contributors during the offseason, but Marina Mabrey and Dana Evans will likely serve as the team's starting guards. Carter could have some fantasy relevance if she can carve out ample depth minutes, but she'll need to bounce back from her disappointing 2022 season.

She averaged at least 14.0 points and 3.0 assists in each of her first two seasons in the WNBA and should produce similar numbers during her first season in Los Angeles, though she'll likely be the third offensive option behind Liz Cambage and Nneka Ogwumike.
