2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Fever acquired Brown and Sophie Cunningham in a four-team trade this offseason. Last year, Brown shined during the preseason but made only 14 regular-season appearances for the Wings during an injury-plagued campaign. Her path to playing time is bleaker than it was in Dallas, as she'll now have to compete for bench minutes with Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham, both capable starters in the WNBA. Also, when healthy, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Natasha Howard, DeWanna Bonner and Aliyah Boston will dominate the playing time and usage, leaving Brown as an afterthought in fantasy. 2024 Fantasy Outlook
Brown played collegiately at California, and she averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 31.5 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter during her senior season in the 2019-20 campaign. She wasn't selected in the 2020 WNBA Draft and has spent the past few seasons playing overseas, making stops in France, Sweden, Hungary, Mexico and Turkey. The 25-year-old signed a training camp with the Wings during the offseason and is competing for a spot on the final roster, but she could have a chance to carve out a role since Satou Sabally is slated to miss the first half of the regular season. Brown started in the Wings' preseason opener and is an intriguing fantasy sleeper if she secures a spot on the roster to begin the regular season.
