2025 Fantasy Outlook
Loyd was a dominant presence in Seattle's backcourt for 10 years and was especially integral over the last two seasons following Sue Bird's retirement and Breanna Stewart's departure. However, she requested a trade following the 2024 season, and Seattle dealt her to Las Vegas as part of a three-team trade that sent Kelsey Plum to the Sparks. Loyd led the league in scoring in 2023, averaging 24.7 points per game while converting 35.6 percent of her 8.5 three-point attempts per game. Loyd took a step back in 2024 after Seattle acquired Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike, averaging 19.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 33.7 minutes per game. The Aces will have a new look in 2025 after losing Plum and Alysha Clark, and Loyd should remain a stellar fantasy contributor alongside A'ja Wilson, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray. Scores 21, drains five treys
Loyd accumulated 21 points (7-12 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 83-77 victory over the Liberty.
ANALYSIS
Loyd was sharp from beyond the arc, and her five treys represented her second-best output in that category since the All-Star break. She has scored 20 or more points just three times over her last eight showings, but she's still averaging a decent 15.5 points per game while shooting 43.3 percent from deep over that stretch.

There were questions on how the Storm would fare in 2023 after star Breanna Stewart elected to sign with the Liberty as a free agent. While Seattle missed the playoffs, Loyd stepped up as the team's star and seems poised to handle a similar role in 2024. The 30-year-old averaged a career-high 24.7 points and 4.7 rebounds to go with 3.4 assists in 35.4 minutes per game. Her scoring average was the best in franchise history and the second in league history, behind only Diana Taurasi, who averaged 25.3 points per game in 2006. Loyd's availability has also been a strength in recent years, as she hasn't missed more than two games in a season since the 2019 campaign. She bolstered her fantasy value from the perimeter, as she led the league with 8.5 three-point attempts per game while finishing second in the WNBA with 3.0 three-pointers made per game. Loyd did this while shooting 35.6 percent from beyond the arc, her lowest mark since 2019. The Storm will get a solid rookie contributor with the fourth overall pick in this year's draft, but Loyd should remain a focal point for the team after signing a two-year contract extension near the end of the 2023 campaign. The Storm made several significant offseason acquisitions by signing Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike, but Loyd should be among the league's top fantasy contributors once again in 2024.
