Vanloo made her WNBA debut with the Mystics as a 31-year-old in 2024 and was a surprisingly reliable fantasy option, as she averaged 7.4 points and 4.3 assists in 23.2 minutes per game while starting in 34 of her 40 regular-season appearances. She slowed down after the Olympic break, averaging 5.4 points and 3.1 assists in 9.3 minutes per game over her final 15 outings of the year, but her efforts still led the Valkyries to select her in the WNBA Expansion Draft this winter. While Golden State will also have Tiffany Hayes, Kate Martin and Veronica Burton available out of the backcourt, Vanloo should have a chance to carve out a fairly prominent role that makes her an intriguing fantasy option heading into her second WNBA season.
