Juste Jocyte

Jocyte is just 19 years old, but she's had success overseas in recent seasons and was selected by the Valkyries with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. She joins the WNBA's newest franchise, an organization that targeted plenty of international talent via the expansion draft over the winter. While playing alongside No. 2 pick Dominique Malonga with French club Lyon in the BWL this season, Jocyte averaged 11.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 28.2 minutes per game. While she's a solid shooter with decent size, her availability is in question, as she's expressed that her top priority is playing for the Lithuanian national team, and they'll be playing in EuroBasket in June. She'll at least be unavailable for the first half of the season while preparing for international play and isn't expected to join the Valkyries in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
