Kalani Brown

Brown took a significant step during her first season with the Wings in 2023, averaging 7.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game. She appeared to be in line for an even bigger role last year since the Wings dealt with several frontcourt absences, but she regressed slightly, averaging 5.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game. The 28-year-old was traded to the Mercury during the offseason and will join a frontcourt that lost Brittney Griner but acquired Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally while retaining Natasha Mack. Thomas, Sabally and Mack will likely begin the year as starters, while Brown profiles as little more than a streaming candidate if she continues to play primarily off the bench. Read Past Outlooks
