2025 Fantasy Outlook
Samuelson struggled to find a consistent role early in her career, but she's appeared in 63 games across the last two seasons while putting together solid production for the Sparks and Mystics. Over 29 appearances (19 starts) for Washington last year, she averaged 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 24.6 minutes per game, which made her a fairly consistent fantasy option. However, Samuelson lost out on her starting job over the final few months of the season, and she was traded to the Lynx in mid-April. It's unlikely that she'll be able to carve out as much playing time with her new team, and she'll likely have to settle for a bench role behind Napheesa Collier and Bridget Carleton. Samuelson's production over the last two seasons made her an intriguing late-round fantasy option, but she profiles more as a streaming candidate ahead of the 2025 campaign. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Samuelson was included in the trade that sent Diamond Miller to the Wings on Sunday, but the former is now set to head into free agency. The 30-year-old Samuelson is on the mend from season-ending left foot surgery, which she underwent in July. Samuelson should be back to full health ahead of the 2026 season.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Samuelson didn't make more than 20 appearances in a season across her first four years in the league, but she had a career-best season in 2023 since the Sparks were dealing with several absences. Samuelson made 34 appearances (23 starts) and averaged 7.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.1 minutes per game. She shot 42.6 percent from beyond the arc on 3.4 attempts per game, which ranked third in the league among players who had at least 3.0 attempts per game. She's proven to have the talent to be a fantasy-relevant option, and she signed with the Mystics over the offseason -- a team in need of perimeter shooting. That could bode well for her fantasy upside.
