2025 Fantasy Outlook
Yueru appeared in 16 regular-season games with the Sky in 2022 but missed the 2023 campaign due to a non-WNBA injury. She returned to action with the Sparks last year and had some fantasy value as a streamer, averaging 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game over 38 appearances (two starts). She was traded to the Storm during the offseason and should compete for a roster spot this spring. Most of the 26-year-old's opportunities last year came when Los Angeles dealt with injuries, and she'll likely have trouble generating consistent production in 2025 while Seattle is fully healthy, as the team's frontcourt includes stars like Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor and Gabby Williams. The Wings have acquired Yueru in a trade with the Storm, Meghan L. Hall of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Yueru recently requested a trade, as it seems she was not content with her role in Seattle. The 26-year-old center will now play for her fourth team in three seasons in the WNBA. She had previous stints with the Sky and Aces before being dealt to the Wings by the Storm on Saturday. In nine games with Seattle during the 2025 campaign, Yueru averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, shooting a career-low 30 percent from the field across 8.7 minutes per contest.
