The Storm selected Holmes (knee) with the No. 26 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Holmes announced last week that she'll miss the 2024 WNBA season due to left knee surgery, but she'll be able to learn behind several prominent veterans as she rehabs during her rookie year. Holmes became Indiana's all-time leading scorer during her five seasons in Bloomington, averaging 17.2 points and 6.7 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game. Several of the Storm's players are scheduled to become free agents ahead of the 2025 season, so Holmes' role once she's healthy isn't yet clear.
