Maddy Siegrist

26-Year-Old ForwardF
 Dallas Wings  WNBA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Siegrist will return to Dallas after the Wings picked up the fourth-year team option on her rookie-scale contract last season. She missed a month and a half in the middle of 2025 due to a knee injury, but when healthy, Siegrist was as productive as ever. She posted career-high marks in points (12.7), rebounds (4.3), steals (0.7), blocks (0.6) and minutes (27.0) per game. Oddly, Siegrist made a career-low 26 appearances, but a career-high 15 starts, including the final 12 games. During that stretch, she averaged 15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks in 31.8 minutes a night. Dallas retained Arike Ogunbowale while drafting Azzi Fudd No. 1 overall and adding Alanna Smith to build around Paige Bueckers in 2026, but Siegrist's familiarity with the organization should give her the upper hand in terms of playing time to begin the campaign. She was a solid producer last year, but Siegrist's upside is limited, especially if the team around her gets better, and her availability isn't guaranteed. She's made more than 27 appearances once in three years, and when she played 39 games as a rookie, she averaged only 8.2 minutes a night. Read Past Outlooks
Double-digit scoring effort Sunday
FDallas Wings
June 28, 2026
Siegrist finished with 12 points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes in Sunday's 85-77 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Siegrist has come off the bench in each of Dallas' last six regular-season contests. While her statistical contributions haven't changed much in either direction since being ousted from the starting lineup, it appears the door remains open for her to reclaim her spot over Awak Kuier.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
Siegrist was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, but she had a disappointing rookie season while playing exclusively off the bench. However, the Villanova product took a step forward in her second professional season and served as a starter in 13 of 27 appearances. She was especially productive in a starting capacity, averaging 14.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 35.0 minutes per game. The Wings lost Satou Sabally and Natasha Howard during the offseason, and although they acquired NaLyssa Smith and will presumably draft Paige Bueckers first overall this spring, Siegrist will likely compete for a starting role this spring. Siegrist had plenty of success in the scoring and rebounding columns in college, and she'll likely have a chance to take another leap at the professional level in 2025.
Siegrist went to Dallas with the third overall pick in last year's draft following a productive collegiate career at Villanova, but she averaged just 3.7 points in 8.2 minutes per game in 2023 despite shooting 50.9 percent from the floor. She appeared in 39 of 40 games and could have a chance to see her role grow slightly in 2024, especially since Awak Kuier will sit out the entire season due to rest purposes. Although Natasha Howard and Teaira McCowan will be returning, Siegrist could handle a relatively prominent role over the first half of the season since Satou Sabally is expected to be sidelined through the Olympic break following offseason shoulder surgery. Siegrist will likely have to compete with Lou Lopez Senechal, Emma Cannon and Kalani Brown for minutes, but the Villanova product is an intriguing name to watch in the late rounds of fantasy drafts or as an addition from the waiver wire.
Siegrist is a pure scorer who led all of college basketball with 29.2 points per game last year, connecting on a nation-best 9.5 attempts per game from inside the arc. Her mid-range game is nearly unmatched. She was the first of several scorers the Wings targeted during the draft and will join a club headed by one of the league's best scoring threats, Arike Ogunbowale. While Siegrist doesn't figure to near the 21.4 field-goal attempts per game she recorded last season at Villanova, she can still impact the game on the glass (9.4 rebounds per game) and the defensive end as well, sporting an impressive wingspan leading to 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game last season. Siegrist has a number of frontcourt challengers for playing time, but she figures to claim some minutes of her own as a rookie.
