Gatling has largely been a minor role player throughout her first three seasons, with career averages of 3.8 points and 2.6 rebounds across 11.0 minutes per game. She took part in 16 contests with the Dream during the 2016 campaign, including two starts, but isn't in the plans for the future after being let go on Wednesday. With a big body at 6-foot-5, Gatling should field some interest as a low post option, but there's no guarantees she makes a final roster by the time the regular season kicks off in a little over a week.
