2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gustafson joined the Aces ahead of 2024 after two seasons in Phoenix. She made a career-high seven regular-season starts across 38 appearances last year but averaged only 3.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game. During the offseason, the Aces swapped Kelsey Plum for Jewell Loyd while losing Tiffany Hayes, Alysha Clark and Kate Martin, opening up rotation minutes. However, Gustafson's role is unlikely to change much from 2024 to 2025, as she'll likely only be on the floor when A'ja Wilson needs a rest. Gustafson, who posted 24 points, seven rebounds and two blocks -- all season highs -- in a start against Dallas on Sept. 19, can be viewed as an insurance piece for those who draft Wilson, but that's the extent of her fantasy value. Ties career high in loss
Gustafson provided six points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three blocks and one rebound across 22 minutes in Saturday's 111-58 loss to the Lynx.
ANALYSIS
Gustafson tied her season best in playing time during the blowout loss, posting a season-high-tying mark in three-pointers. The 6-foot-3 center also tied her career-high mark in blocks, leading both teams in swats Saturday. She has now logged at least 20 minutes in three of her nine regular-season appearances.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Gustafson posted career-high numbers across the board during her second season with the Mercury in 2023, averaging 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals-plus-blocks in 15.1 minutes per game across 34 appearances (four starts). She even maintained elite efficiency, shooting over 52 percent from the field for a third straight season, despite expanding her range -- she made 34.9 percent of 1.3 three-point attempts per game. The 27-year-old will likely be in line for a bench role with the back-to-back WNBA champions, but she was recently named the British Basketball League tournament MVP and should be able to carve out decent production as a reserve for the Aces. Candace Parker also announced her retirement in April, which will likely open up additional opportunities for Gustafson.
