Theresa Plaisance

Plaisance has had a minimal role in the WNBA for a handful of seasons - the last time she averaged 20-plus minutes being 2017. She signed with the Storm during the offseason, and it seemed possible Plaisance would see more than the 12.9 minutes per game she did last season with the Aces since Breanna Stewart is now in New York. However, Plaisance was waived by Seattle prior to the regular season as the Storm opted for youth. In 2021, she saw 18.0 minutes with the Mystics and averaged 6.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.5 combined steals-plus-blocks - numbers that optimistic fantasy managers can hope for. Notably, she provides intriguing potential as a three-and-D center, as she hit one three per game last year at 34.8 percent while her 2.9 percent block rate ranked in the 84th percentile. Even if she lands a spot on another roster this year, she could have trouble securing a fantasy-relevant role.
