GSeattle Storm
August 20, 2025
Mitchell produced two points (1-2 FG), one rebound and one steal across 11 minutes during Tuesday's 94-88 victory over the Sky.
ANALYSIS
With 11 minutes Tuesday, Mitchell snapped a streak of five straight games with single-digit minutes. Her role is too minimal for fantasy managers to look her way.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2022
Mitchell had a small bounceback in 2023 after going to Minnesota following a seven-year career in Indiana. She started 21 of 33 appearances, averaging 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 23.1 minutes. Turnovers (2.1) remained an issue, but that's part of her aggressive playstyle, as she's often looking to draw fouls going to the basket. Mitchell is able to stuff the stat sheet on occasion, but she's ultimately a fairly low-usage player. The 29-year-old will join a Sun backcourt that has lost Natisha Hiedeman and Tiffany Hayes ahead of the 2024 season, so Mitchell may compete for a starting role with her new team.
Mitchell started 25 of 28 appearances with Indiana in 2021 but lost that role in 2022, starting just eight of her 34 outings. She averaged 6.5 points in 16.3 minutes per game, both the worst marks of her career. The veteran guard spent the first seven years of her career with the Fever but will get a fresh start in 2023, signing with Minnesota in February. Kayla McBride and Rachel Banham will return to Minnesota's backcourt, but Mitchell should have a chance to carve out a role after Moriah Jefferson signed with the Mercury. Mitchell will face stiff competition for minutes in the backcourt again with Rachel Banham remaining in the fold and the team's selection of No. 2 overall pick Diamond Miller, so the veteran isn't guaranteed big minutes.
Mitchell started 25 of her 28 appearances with Indiana in 2021 and finished as the team's second-leading scorer while averaging 12.0 points to go with 2.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.3 minutes per game. She missed the final three games of the year with a knee injury but should be healthy heading into 2022. The Fever will likely add several young contributors during the offseason given the team's possession of four of the top 10 picks in the 2022 WNBA Draft. Still, Mitchell should have a secure spot in the starting lineup coming off of her most efficient season from the field (42.1 percent) in her six-year career.
