From what I recall, he has had some big July's in the past.....I like him as a buy low.....

Just a smidge higher than you - about $16, full in the expectation that his power isn't coming back.

I'd go higher still, raise Erickson a couple of bucks to $18, on the basis there's no age-slide indicators to suggest he'll remain a sub-.250 hitter, and he's paced to 24 bags on the season. With the notion that what goes down must come up - I should get a .300 hitter with 17 bags for the remainder of the year. And if he hits 10-13 home runs, I did real well. I won't project the power, but will suggest his present lack of patience at the plate is an aberration.

Well I might as well take him for 19 if the market is going to blue light special him before July....heard some jibber jabber on sports talk about the Yanks trying to pawn him to the chi sox.....with the chi sox not to interested so they said.....thanks for the post, I like studs who slump at the start and play everday to trade for about now....hadn't thought about Abreu until now...late.

Maybe I'll start a thread where we price a handful of intriguing (or even frustrating) guys, exchange ideas. Or if someone wants to go ahead and do so, I'd contribute my prices and reasons why.

Berkman's another tricky one. We should do a whole bunch of these.
I wish it were easier to do a mid-season auction or two, because that would be a blast, and instructive too.

I like the auction draft but I can't stand roto....anything that has stolen bases as 1 of 5 categorys makes me nautious......head to head has to many luck factors like points aginst and one week playoff series.....total points, no trading is my favorite format..........What I would like to know is if there is some auction software for fantsy sports you can buy to get a group online to do an auction draft within a reasonable time......if anyone knows of one...post it here please.....
