So I have this buddy who is supposed to be doing a blog about working in sports television. Instead he's pretty much turned it into his own variety show. For example, here's video of him impersonating the San Diego Chicken, complete with the chicken suit. And in this video (scroll down) he does an awful rendition of "Love on the Rocks" while sitting on the faux-boulders in the Anaheim Stadium outfield.
Anyway, last week he took some video of Eddie Vedder playing catch with Kerry Wood before a Cubs games (again, scroll, past the Woo-Woo man). What I can't get over is how much of a girl Vedder looks like trying to throw a baseball. I know he's an "artist" and all, but good grief, put a little muscle into it big boy. I mean, how about a little enthusiasm? You're playing catch at Wrigley Field!
