Lawr Michaels from CreativeSports.com joins us and brings his zen-like focus to the show. We'll likely hit on what the Bay Area teams are doing, and talk up some Strat-o-matic talk as well.

Hello Lawr. James Chang from First Pitch Arizona here. Always good to touch base with you. Here is a direct question for you to start us off. Who would you rather have on your team in 2008 and why: Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum?

More evidence of why guest are much better to listen to than callers from Tuesday's show:
Caller: "I am in a keeper league where we protect 2 players. One guy is keeping A Rod. I have the second pick in the draft. I was offering my second pick for A Rod. What are your thoughts on that trade?"
Un-believable.
Ya, with the (theoretically) top 24 players off the board, he is going to take your second pick for the consensus number one player in fantasy baseball.
Once again Jeff, I don't know how you maintain your composure. I would have asked him if he was joking.

hey james. how is all. and, i would go with cain. not that lincecum is not filthy. but, cain is now a seasoned vet who survived a pretty rugged season, in some aspects, really well.
lincecum still has a full complement of starts to go, and, well, i love the guy, but, he is smaller than cain, and i am not totally convinced of his durability. at least relative to cain.
if you look at cain's peripherals, they rock in lieu of the w/l.
