If you have not covered them before, I would like to know your impression of David Murphy and Scott Downs. Both of them are available in two of my leagues and I currently have a free roster spot. Thanks in advance.

We have an Ian Stewart sighting!
Campillo's role changed this week, and he's looked like a good starter so far (though he left today's game early).

Kershaw is a must have in keeper leagues, and will serve as a solid pitcher this year. Avoid Jacque Jones and Jake Westbrook like the plague... there are just better, younger options out there. Doug Davis is a nice come back story line, and although plays for a talented team... it is a young one that makes mistakes. One day they slap the ball around and the next they can't hit. He has always had average to slightly above average stuff. Advice: Grab Max Scherzer if people dropped him. He is an elite prospect who will be back in the rotation as soon as the inevitable Randy Johnson injury occurs. He'll then be back for good. He is a definite starter in next years DBacks rotation for any keeper leaguers. Dontrelle Willis has de-railed. Stay away. He's garbage with an overhyped name.
In my mixed league with contracts out as far as 5 years... currently JOnes is the only player on the wire.

In a 10 team NL only league that drafts 400 players, sometimes jacque Jones is the best out there when you are hit with the injury bus. Also, FAAB on Russell Branyan.
