Feels like a slower week to me than usual here. So how about a potential prospect or two? Billy Butler?

What's up with the Tor MI? Scutaro, Inglett, Eckstein?

Anything on Matt Laporta/Milwaukee or Beau Mills/Cleveland would be great. Thanks

I wouldn't mind a refresh on Schumaker. He is coming up available in some very deep leagues.

jerry hairston and keppinger for the reds would be great --probably dropped in many NL-only leagues once injured

I guess Mark Mulder should be in there this week...

As for LaPorta...I like him a lot, but I doubt he'll be up in Milwaukee any time soon. Most leagues can't bid FAAB dollars on guys in the minors, but in a keeper league that can, I'd certainly have him on the radar and would bid what it takes to get him.

The only problem with LaPorta is that there's no place for him to play in Milwaukee - 1B/LF/RF are all tied up with very good players. He's not capable of playing another position, so they're almost forced to trade him to fill other needs.

I had a feeling Billy Butler was going to get called up. You clearly have to do him now.

What will the Marlins do with McPherson? He is killing AAA pitching.

Npieper: we looked at Keppinger last week (http://www.rotowire.com/baseball/features/faab_NL.htm), but Hairston will be in there this week.
